 The Chamber of Commerce of Port Gibson specializes in providing true southern hospitality to visitors and newcomers alike. From their visitor's center at 1601 Church Street, at the southern entrance to Port Gibson on Highway 61, the chamber provides tour maps, brochures and hunter's guides, as well as welcome packets for new residents. They also have several historical items on display at the center, including founder Samuel Gibson's family Bible.
The visitor's center is open seven days a week February through November (five days a week in December and January): Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday Noon to 4 p.m.
